do you know which place is best for you ?. Please browse the following
regions to find out which part of Istanbul would be appropriate

Beyoglu
- Taksim - Macka - Nisantasi City's heart beats
here. Old but nice apartment buildings, bars, shops, and restaurants.
Can be called one of the centers of the city.
Levent
- Akatlar - Etiler
Central residential area near urban entertainment. Close to business
region of Maslak, close to the shopping malls, close to the entrance
of the highway to the airport and the second Bosphorous bridge.
Mosthly apartments in a compound with facilities. Difficult to find
houses.
Besiktas
- Ortakoy - Ulus
Apartments
with good Bosphorous view. (medium priced) Or compounds with activities
(high price). Or compounds with both Bosphorous view and activities
(expensive). Close to first Bosphorus brige.
Arnavutkoy - Bebek - Rumelihisari
Life along the Bosphorus where all the beautiful waterfront
Turkish Houses located. With its narrow hilly streets this location
is the best area to feel the difference. However, parking can be
a problem.
Emirgan - Yeniköy - Tarabya - Sariyer
Sea view, green surrounding, quiet. Houses in
compounds with all the facilities next to local houses.
Zekeriyakoy Suburban area consisting
of houses with garden. Houses and gardens are nicer than the ones
in the city and less expensive. Another attraction is the British
School.
Kemer Counrty
Suburban area consisting of grander houses with garden.
Many sporting facilities including golf and horse riding. However,
the membership fee for the sporting facilities are not included
in the rent nor compound utility expenses. They are paid extra.
Alkent 2000 Suburban area consisting
of houses with garden and apartments in compounds. Various sporting
facilities. Attraction is the International school being there.
Asian Side
Feel the different atmosphere of Asia, with a variety of
residential areas close to local markets and shopping centers (Bagdat
Street, Capitol Mall, Carrefour). Less bussiness traffic, walking
paths, parks, and cycling routes. However no international schools.
